How to Change Control Panel Colors in Vista Shell Style

1). Click "Start." Click "Control Panel." Click "Appearance and Personalization," then "Personalization."
2). Click "Theme." Select "Windows Aero" from the drop-down menu. Click "OK" to change your theme.
3). Return to "Personalization." Click "Window Color and Appearance."
4). Select a swatch to change the color of the window. Expand "Show color mixer" to adjust the hue, saturation and brightness of the selected color.
5). Move the slider beneath "Color intensity" to the left or the right to decrease or increase, respectively, the intensity of the selected color.
6). Click "Save changes" to apply the color settings to Control Panel and the rest of Windows Vista.
