- 1). Visit the nearest Pokémon Center. You will find a Pokémon Center in almost every town in “SoulSilver.”
- 2). Walk up to the PC on the first floor of the Pokémon Center and press "A" to activate it.
- 3). Select the first PC when asked which PC to open. The first PC is yours.
- 4). Choose “Deposit Pokémon” and place any one of your party members into the PC. This leaves an open slot for your egg.
- 5). Exit the Pokémon Center and try to obtain the egg again, this time with an empty party slot.
