The Windows 7 Phone Series is an attempted comeback on the part of Microsoft to compete against the current market.
They are throwing away everything that has gone before and coming up with completely new ideas and a fresh new interface.
This is designed around 'hubs'; a home-like screen that brings together apps and documents following a certain theme.
Some of the great features this phone will have to go with the great OS are the five megapixel camera and flash, 256MB RAM with 8GB flash for storage, light sensor, proximity sensor and DirectX9 accelerated GPU.
Microsoft has set out to launch the phone in November.
