- 1). Unplug the power cord of the Sony Vaio desktop computer from the electrical outlet before attempting to open the case.
- 2). Remove the power supply cord from the back of the computer by hand.
- 3). Locate the pull tab lever in the upper-right corner of the computer case as you are looking at the back of the unit.
- 4). Pull the tab lever straight out and open the side panel of the Sony Vaio desktop computer by hand.
