How to Use the SteamFast Steam Cleaner
- 1). Locate the water access door located behind the power switch and open it.
- 2). Push the reservoir cap inward and rotate it counter-clockwise one-half turn. Release the cap and continue turning it counter-clockwise until it threads out of the reservoir.
- 3). Turn the unit upside down over a sink to drain out any old water inside the reservoir.
- 4). Fill the measuring cup provided with the cleaner with 2 cups of water. If you have hard water, use distilled water; otherwise, you can use tap water.
- 5). Pour the water into the reservoir. If necessary, use a funnel to keep the water from spilling.
- 6). Place the threaded end of the cap into the reservoir and tighten it clockwise by hand. Push down on the cap and tighten it until you hear clicking.
- 7). Slide your desired attachment onto the end of the wand. The attachment does not bolt into place -- you simply slide it on.
- 8). Plug the powered cord into an electrical outlet and turn the unit on. Place the tip of the wand into a bucket until it warms up. The steam can burn you if you are exposed to it while the unit heats up.
- 9). Place the wand over the area you want to clean. Slide the wand back and forth over the dirty area to agitate it and to clean deeper.
- 10
Wipe the area with a clean towel once you are done cleaning. - 11
Turn off the cleaner and allow it 15 minutes to cool down. Remove the reservoir cap and empty the reservoir of any remaining water.
