Run the freeware video file converter once you have installed it. Allow the video file converter to open and load effectively before proceeding. - 3). Click the "File" tab at the top of the video file converter's window, and select the "Open" or "Add File(s)" action in the collapsible menu that pops up.
- 4). Locate the AVI file you'd like to convert. Select the AVI video file, and click the "Open" button in the file folder directory window. The converter's input mode will automatically be changed to AVI as a result of the video file type detection.
- 5). Change the output format to ISO or DVD, depending on the wording of the available formats. (ISO and DVD are exactly the same format, as ISO is the technical file name for DVD video files.)
- 6). Provide the standard disc size where the ISO file will be applied. (In most cases, this format is DVD 4.7GB, as this is the standard size of a blank DVD writable disc.)
- 7). Click the "Go," "Convert" or "Convert File" action at the bottom of the video file converter window to begin converting the video file from AVI to ISO.
