How to Edit a Path
- 1). Double-click on "Computer" on the Windows Desktop. This will open a window in which you can edit the file path in the address / file path bar.
- 2). Click on the address / file path bar, which will be currently labelled as "Computer." This will select the text so that it can be edited.
- 3). Type the desired file path and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard. For example, if you type "C:" and press Enter, you will see the file and folder contents of your main computer hard disk drive root directory. Another example is "C:\Program Files," which is the directory to which your application software is installed.
