- The palmOne LifeDrive is a PDA, or personal digital assistant, device that offers mobile management of personal or business information. It can function as a basic personal calendar, an Internet browser, or even as a voice memo recorder. LifeDrive also allows a user to listen to his own digital music downloaded into the device .
- The latest update to the LifeDrive device is version 2.0 as of April 2011. It has improved roaming capabilities, as well as better Wi-Fi connectivity in weak signal areas. The Internet browser's performance received a boost for faster page loading.
- This latest update of version 2.0 will erase any data within the device, so it is imperative that the unit is backed up before applying the update. Be aware that the update will take at least 20 minutes for a complete download, so set aside enough time for the device to sit idle.
