If you employ people at your company on a seasonal basis, then you will want to give them a special gift around the holidays. Giving a holiday gift is a great way to show your employees that you appreciate their work ethic and the efforts that they have put forth to make the company successful. A corporate gift also is a good way to encourage and motivate employees who may get lost in the daily grind and not always feel appreciated. - Fill a gift basket with a variety of home-baked cookies. Bake several dozen batches in a variety of flavors such as chocolate chip, cranberry, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter. Package the cookies in resealable plastic gift bags. Buy gift baskets from a wholesaler or a craft store, fill the base with paper confetti and then line the basket with the bags of cookies.
- Fill paper gift bags with wine or spirits that have custom labels. You can design and buy custom labels displaying your company's logo and slogan, and then place them on bottles of wine or spirits that you can buy in bulk. Provide a non-alcoholic option--such as sparkling apple cider or juice with more exotic flavors--for employees who do not drink alcohol.
- Host holiday or seasonal employees at a party or dinner held in their honor. Thank them for the hard work they provided during the busy holiday season by catering a meal at the office or holding a holiday party at the office or at another location, depending on your budget. Because seasonal employees may not be retained, give them a gift that will remind them of their time at the company, such as a company T-shirt or baseball cap.
