There are various types of oil boilers currently available: • Regular or conventional boilers: It contains hot water storage tanks and is convenient for larger families.
If hot water is required to be stored for a longer time than this type of boiler can be preferred.
• System boilers: It is considered as a domestic boiler and is easy to maintain and install.
All the included components like valve, pump, and expansion vessel are installed in the boiler itself.
• Combinational boilers: This type of boiler is preferred by small families.
It heats the water at the instant it is switched on, but due to the slow flow of hot water from tanks to the outlets, it is not preferred by the larger families.
Oil boilers come with two different types of flues.
One is the balanced flue, which consists of concentric pipe connected to the extract flue for drawing air required for combustion.
Other is the open flue, which draws air for combustion from the very room where the boiler is installed.
Balanced flue boilers are suggested by professionals over open flue, because in open flue the air drawn for combustion can also be emissions of vehicles and other instrument.
It can even damage the boiler, if adequate air is not provided for combustion.
