Leveling the Rear Wheels of a GE Refrigerator
- 1). Unscrew or simply pull the grille straight out from the bottom of the refrigerator. Open the refrigerator doors.
- 2). Look beneath the doors, near the front wheels for the case leveling screws.
- 3). Insert a 3/8 socket wrench or flat-head screwdriver into the screw head. Twist the screw clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower the corner of the refrigerator. Repeat on the opposite side.
- 4). Position the front of the refrigerator 1/4 inch higher than the rear. If a back wheel is raised too much, lower the front wheel on the same side. Adjust the opposite front wheel to compensate for the difference.
- 5). Close the refrigerator doors and replace the grille.
