'The Great Gatsby' is a popular novel that was written by American author F. Fitzgerald. The story primarily concerns the life of young and mysterious, Jay Gatsby and his passion for the love of his life, Daisy Buchanan. This passion turns out to be quite tragic.

Most of us have already read this classic novel. But what will be more amazing would be to watch it live on the silver screen. The novel has been adapted as a Hollywood movie for like five times. The latest in the list is directed by Baz Luhrmann. The movie stars Leonardo de Caprio as The Great Gatsby, Toby Maguire as Nick Carraway, Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan, Joel Edgerton as Tom Buchanan and Isla Fisher as Myrtle Wilson.

Here's why you shouldn't miss this movie:

a. Adaptation of a classic novel: One easy guess would be that it's effing based on a classic novel... a novel that every English teacher or every English language freak individual would have recommended.

b. Jazz Era: Roaring 20's or the classic Jazz era... whatever you call it, the movie showcases it to perfection. The way how the movie has epitomized the life of the rich and famous in the Jazz era is something to behold. Simply outstanding!

c. For all those fancy costumes: 'The Great Gatsby' won the academy Awards for the Best Costume Design. Beat that! The riding clothes that Tom wears or the classy suits of Gatsby or the victorian dresses that Daisy flaunts... the movie takes you to the era where it's all about going fancy while clothing.

d. Pet phrase: It's indeed a charm to watch Leonardo de Caprio aka The Great Gatsby say 'Old Sport' over and over again. As a matter of fact, this very phrase has been said for like 55 times in this very movie. Indeed a pet phrase, eh? What's more interesting the way Caprio delivers this phrase. Awesome, indeed!

e. The Great party by The Great Gatsby: Watch the movie and you'd say 'Party like Gatsby!'. 'A little party never killed nobody.' Yes, people, that's the bottom line.

f. Lesson from the movie: 'Live fabulously. Love dangerously.' Gatsby literally lived by this line to his last breath. And it's a pleasure to watch how he manages to do that.

g. Awesome music: 'Young and Beautiful' by Lana Del Ray serves as the lead single. The song is as beautiful as the movie. Other tracks which are a part of this movie are: Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' by Beyonce and Andre 3000, 'Love is the drug' by Bryan Ferry, Beyonce's and U2's 'Love is blindness'.

Hope these reasons are good enough to make you watch this classic movie.
