How to Remove Black Skid Marks From Polished White Tile
- 1). Spray multipurpose water-displacing lubricant onto a white cloth. Water-displacing lubricant contains solvents that dissolve skid marks.
- 2). Rub the lubricant-moistened cloth vigorously over the skid mark. Remove as much of the mark as possible.
- 3). Examine the tile for remaining black marks. If the skid mark remains, thoroughly scrub it off the ceramic surface using superfine steel wool.
- 4). Dampen another white cloth with warm water. Wipe the water-dampened cloth over the ceramic surface to rinse off the lubricant.
- 5). Dry the ceramic tile with a clean towel.

- 5). Dampen a white cloth with warm water, and use it to rinse off the paste.
- 6). Dry the vinyl tile with a clean towel.
