How to Clean Insect Foggers
- 1). Put on gloves to protect your hands from exposure to fogger chemicals that can irritate and harm skin. Pull the spray-tip up and away to remove it from the fogger container.
- 2). Locate the small opening underneath the tip. Insert the sharp end of the pin or toothpick and twist it in a circular motion to scrape residue from under the tip and eliminate clogs. Remove the pin or toothpick and wipe the residue onto a tissue. Repeat this step until no residue remains.
- 3). Insert the pin or sharp point of the toothpick into the spray-nozzle's hole. Twist the pin or toothpick within the hole to remove clogs in the nozzle. Throw away the pin or toothpick after use.
- 4). Take the tip and the fogger to the area where the fogger will be used. Reinsert the spray-tip onto the top of the fogger's hose. Reactivate the fogger by pressing the tip down firmly into the hose until spray releases. Exit the area immediately.
