How to Make an Endora Costume

    • 1). Find a purple dress that is ankle-length, has long sleeves and a collar. Check vintage and costume shops as well as discount clothing stores' formal wear section. Alternatively, sew your own purple dress using a simple dress pattern.

    • 2). Find a garment that resembles Endora's long sleeveless green chiffon evening jacket. Look in the lingerie section of discount clothing stores. You may stumble onto a full-length green chiffon robe from which you can remove the sleeves. A green chiffon wrap will also work. Alternatively, sew your own green chiffon jacket using a robe pattern, just don't add sleeves.

    • 3). Style a bobbed red wig or red hair. Curl four or five half-inch sections of hair at the crown with a large-barrelled curling iron. Leave the curls exactly as they appear when removed from the iron. Tease the hair for fullness then apply hairspray generously.

    • 4). Accentuate the arch of your eyebrows with eyebrow pencil. Line your lids in heavy black eyeliner.

    • 5). Apply turquoise blue eyeshadow. If it looks too thick, it is just right. Finish the eyes with black mascara or false eyelashes.

    • 6). Wear killer shoes and loud jewelry, as desired. Endora's shoes were typically not visible, so you can take artistic license here. Just keep in mind that Endora never wore anything that was practical or dull!
