    • The Cessna Citation II was a light twin-engine jet aircraft produced by the Cessna Aircraft Co. between 1977 and 1997. The jet was a direct development from the original Citation I. It was powered by two Pratt & Whitney JTI 5D-4 turbofan engines. The model was replaced by the Citation Bravo.

    Dimensions

    • The Cessna Citation II was 47.2 feet long, 15 feet high and 52.2 feet wide. Inside, the interior measured 16 feet in length and 4.8 feet in height. The interior was 3.2 feet wide. Cabin doors measured 39 by 21.25 inches while baggage doors measured 22 by 27 inches.

    Seating and Noise

    • The jet provided two pilot seats and six passenger seats with a possibility to add an additional five passenger seats. The Cessna Citation II produced 71.6 EPNdB at takeoff and 90.5 EPNdB for sideline.

    Weight

    • The aircraft could weigh up to 14,300 lbs. when flying, 14,100 lbs. during takeoff and 13,500 at landing. An empty Cessna Citation II weighed 8,200 lbs. while fuel weighed up to 4,971 lbs. Accordingly, the jet could take up to 929 lbs. of useful payload when the oil tank was full.

    Other Specifications

    • The jet had cruise airspeed of 350 knots and could go as high as 43,000 feet without supplemental cabin oxygen. According to Jetnet, LLC, a used Cessna Citation II costs about $1.2 million as of October 2010.
