- 1). Fill spray bottle with equal parts water and white vinegar
- 2). Spray the solution on the walls and floor and other surfaces in the rooms where you smell the mildew odor, being careful to avoid furniture or textiles.
- 3). For areas with visible mildew growth soak the sponge in the vinegar solution and use it to wipe down the soiled surfaces.
