In High School Musical 2, the sequel to Disney Channel's pop culture phenomenon High School Musical, school is out for the summer, and Troy (Zac Efron), Gabriella (Vanessa Anne Hudgens), and their friends all get a job at a posh country club - a club founded by Sharpay's grandfather. The competition is on when Sharpay goes after Troy and the students take their performances to new heights in preparation for the club's annual mid-summer night musical production.
