Locker Decorating Ideas for Boy Tennis Players
- Card stock or cardboard can be used to make large tennis-themed decor pieces for lockers. Use card stock or cardboard to make large paper tennis rackets and tennis balls. Paint, marker, colored pencil or even crayon can be used to decorate the paper rackets and balls. The pieces can be left as is or decorated with the player's name, statistics or general "Good Luck" wishes.
- Collect photos of the player from matches, team photos and individual shots before or after matches to display on the player's locker. Group the photos together by "theme," such as action shots, or mix and match the photos. The photos can be simply attached to the locker with adhesive or arranged on card stock or construction paper with encouraging and humorous words and phrases.
- Old pieces of tennis equipment can be used to decorate a boy tennis player's locker. These include an old tennis ball that has been cut and flattened, old sweat bands or pieces of sweat bands, tennis racket mesh and old tennis racket covers. Use adhesive and heavy duty tape, such as duct tape, to attach the pieces to the locker as desired. Life-size photos of the player's head can be placed above a tennis shirt as another decor option.
- Tennis players' lockers can be covered with tennis-themed magnets, decals and stickers, though stickers should be attached with adhesive rather than stuck directly on the locker. Tennis decal, magnets and stickers can include images of rackets or tennis balls, as well as wording and phrases such as "What Would Federer Do?," "Peace, Love, Tennis," "Let Your Racket Do The Talking" and "Just Play." Covering the entire locker in magnets and decals is one option, or try interspersing these items with other tennis-themed decor pieces, such as artistic renditions of the boy tennis player.
