    • PSM73C-SR200E is the full model part number for a Toshiba Satellite M70-SR2. This is a discontinued Canadian laptop model that is part of Toshiba's series of budget computers. The computer comes stock with an 85-key full-size keyboard and a touchpad pointing device for use in place of a physical mouse, although you can add an external mouse and keyboard to the M70-SR2 if desired. The M70 is approximately 14 by 10 by 1.5 inches, or 360 by 263 by 38.5 mm. It weighs 6 lbs. (2.72 kg) and has a battery life of approximately 2.5 hours.

    Modems and Communication

    • The PSM73C laptop has three built-in devices for network communication. A 56K modem port provides access to dial-up data or fax connections via a standard phone cable (not included). An Ethernet port offers 10/100 integrated Ethernet networking capability. An Atheros brand 802.11(g) wireless modem rounds out the networking with wireless sending and receiving capabilities. The computer casing includes a physical on/off switch for quickly enabling and disabling your wireless modem.

    Drives and Ports

    • The standard hard drive capacity on this Satellite model is approximately 93 GB. An optical drive features CD and DVD reading and writing capabilities at multiple speeds, but no other floppy drive is included. Additional ports include a PC card slot for Type II PC cards, an RGB monitor port, three USB ports, an S-Video outlet and headphone and microphone jacks. A single IEEE 1394 (FireWire) connection is also available. A cable lock slot and a memory expansion slot are also included.

    Speed and Memory

    • Stock memory on this model is 512 MB of random access memory (RAM), but this can be expanded to up to 2 GB by upgrading the RAM chip and using the expansion memory slot. The included processor is an Intel Celeron M 380 chip, featuring a speed of 1.6 GHz, an L1 cache of 32 KB/32 KB and an L2 cache of 1 MB. The laptop was marketed as a general business use and entertainment model at the time it was released, but it will not meet the processing requirements of some modern online gaming without upgrades.
