How to Upgrade a Mini Maglite

1). Unscrew the top rim of the flash light by twisting it counterclockwise.
2). Remove the reflector from its position in the head of the flashlight and screw the rim back in place.
3). Unscrew the head of the flashlight by gripping the entire assembly and twisting counterclockwise. This will give you access to the Mini Maglite's bulb.
4). Remove the bulb by gently pulling it out of the flashlight's housing.
5). Place the new Maglite LED assembly in the same location from which you removed the original bulb.
6). Screw the head of the flashlight back on to the main assembly.
7). Unscrew the cap from the bottom of the flashlight and replace with the bump trigger assembly supplied in the LED upgrade kit. This new cap has a rubber bumper button on it. When depressed, the bumper will trigger the light to turn on. Once you let go of the button, the light will turn off. If you do not want this feature on your Mini Maglite, you can skip this step.
