- 1). Log in to your DeviantART account by entering your user name or email address and password.
- 2). Place your cursor over the "Submit" link in the toolbar at the top of the page. This will cause a drop-down menu to appear. Click on "Submit Art."
- 3). Enter the title of your poem in the box that says "Deviation Title," then click the "Choose" button to select a category. You will want to select "Literature," then "Poetry," and then the style of the poem, such as romantic or narrative. Click "OK."
- 4). Click on the "Upload File" button if your poem is saved on your computer as a .txt or .html file. Locate the file on your hard drive and click "OK" to upload it. If you do not have the poem saved in an appropriate file format, click on the "Add Text" button underneath the upload box. A large text box will pop up. Type or copy and paste your poem into this box, then click "OK."
- 5). Add a description and keywords for your poem in the applicable boxes, then choose whether you would like to allow comments on your work. You will then need to state whether the poem contains mature content and whether or not you would like to allow others to modify or reproduce your work. Once all of these choices have been made, agree to DeviantART's terms of service and click "Submit."
