How to Sew a Koozie
- 1). Cut out a piece of quilted material 12 inches long and 6-½ inches wide.
- 2). Fold your fabric in half with the pattern on the inside. Sew up the bottom of the fabric using a straight stitch with normal tension. Leave a 1/2-inch seam allowance (the distance between the raw edge of the fabric and the seam).
- 3). Turn the fabric right side out. Pin the sides of the fabric together. Sew up the side of the fabric using a straight stitch and normal tension. Leave a ½-inch seam allowance.
- 4). Brush the raw edges of the fabric with fray glue and allow it to dry for about 20 minutes.
- 5). Iron the seam flat on the inside of the koozie.
- 6). Turn the koozie inside out and use.
