Build The Biggest Following Possible, Using Your Blog

If you have a blog, chances are you've labored over the design, the contents, and the navigation.
So how do you ensure that all of your hard work yields the most subscribers and the most sales.
Make sure to add lead capture, auto responder messages, and a call to action at the end of each post.
What does it mean to have lead capture? A lot of bloggers have missed the point on this, the point of most of your websites is to get somebody to join a mailing list of yours.
The reason for them joining a mailing list is so eventually they buy.
It's true that most people are not yet ready to buy when they land on your page.
That's why you need to capture the lead, get them on a email list which they can unsubscribe from at any time.
But the chances are they won't unsubscribe because they came to you looking for information and trust you enough to give you their email address but not necessarily trust you enough to hand over money just yet.
They want to see that you know what you're talking about.
They want to have some free information or some of the first steps to get them ready to buy from you.
What you need to do is join an auto responder service such as Aweber.
And get their signup code, paste it on your blog and that way when somebody comes to your blog, they have a place where they can enter their email address.
Once they're on a list, you need to come up with what's called an auto responder sequence.
These are the series of email messages they will get as soon as they sign up.
They might get a message instantly.
They might get another message after one day, a different message after two days.
But the point is you set up a sequence of messages that they will get every day or every few days, giving them more free information or more reasons to buy from you.
What's great about an auto responder is you are not limited to just this pre-scheduled follow-up sequence.
You can also send broadcasts.
This means if you had just made a brand new blog post, you can shoot out an email to that mailing list and tell your hundreds or thousands of subscribers to come back to your blog, read your latest post and leave a comment.
The beauty of this is you don't even have to send them to a new blog post.
If someone has recently joined your list, you could send them to an old blog post because they have not seen the information before.
And those are the three keys to ensuring that your blog builds you the biggest following.
Capture the lead on your blog which means allow people to enter their email address and get on your list, send them an auto responder follow-up sequence or a series of messages spaced out weeks or days.
And finally, when you make a blog post, send them a call to action or a command to go to your blog and leave a comment.
