Free HP Computer Repair Tips
- You can find many computer tips from manufacturers, including HP, from magazines and books that are available from your local library. A library does not cost anything to join, so you can read a magazine or check out a book to take home. You can find many tips in computer books, including the "For Dummies" series. "PC World" magazine will also offer tips for HP computers and other PCs.
- An online forum is another place you can go to find HP computer repair tips for free. A forum is a place where people like you can read about problems and repair tips from other members of the forum. A forum is available from HP (see Resources) that has many topics of interest, whether it is an HP computer system or software that has been installed. The forum is free for anyone to view, but to post a message, you must create an "HP Passport" and sign into the site.
- HP has a Support & Drivers page (see Resources) that you can use to find information and tips about your HP computer system. You need to select the "See Support and Troubleshooting Information" option and then type in the model number of your computer. You will then be presented with a page that includes links for how to use the product and frequently asked questions. The Support & Drivers page is completely free to browse and collect information.
- Use Google Groups (see Resources) to search for a tips about HP computer repair. You can browse all available categories or search for a specific group. Keep in mind that there may not be one group dedicated to just HP computer repair. You will need to search though various groups to find the information. If a group you are looking for does not exist, you can easily start one of your own.
