How to Grow Sprouts in Bags
- 1). Lightly moisten a paper towel and lay it out flat.
- 2). Lay the seeds on the paper towel evenly, leaving an equal amount of space between each seed. While this does not have to be precise, each seed should have enough room to grow.
- 3). Moisten a second paper towel.
- 4). Roll the two paper towels up together, sandwiching the seeds between two layers.
- 5). Slide the roll into a clear plastic bag, leaving the end unsealed if it is a zipper bag.
- 6). Leave the paper bag in a slightly warm location, like the top of a water heater or the top of a refrigerator. You are creating a mini-greenhouse and encouraging the seeds to grow.
- 7). Remove the resulting sprouts in oen to two weeks and plant them in the garden or use them in cooking.
