- 1). Turn off and unplug the Krups.
- 2). Allow the machine to cool. The components get extremely hot while brewing; check the temperature by quickly touching the machine.
- 3). Lift the lid of the water tank and remove the tank. Pour any excess water into the sink. Do this after each use to ensure the water does not calcify.
- 4). Lift the grid from under the nozzle array and remove the drip tray. Drain any excess fluid from the tray. Remove any debris with a damp cloth. Allow the tray and grid to dry.
