JON DIVENS SIGNS ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLAR DEAL
Jon Divens, and Jon Divens.com has signed a deal with International Entertainment & Finance Investment, a private European equity group for One Hundred Million Dollars over the next five years.
Jon Divens has worked in the Entertainment Industry for over fifteen years. Jon Divens begin his work as an attorney working along side of Russell Simmons, in the early 1990's. While working with Simmons, Jon Divens, along with Simmons developed the Blade screenplay, staring Wesley Snipes. Later Jon Divens turned the screenplay into a block- buster film franchise. While working with Simmons, Jon Divens begin developing film projects for LL Cool J. And later Jon Divens became LL Cool J's Attorney. During this same time period Jon Divens worked along side of Dr. Dre, (of NWA), and advised Dr. Dre. prior to his signing with Interscope records.
In the mid 1990's Jon Divens became the attorney for Digital Underground and negotiated deals for their manager Atron Gregory. Jon Divens, then advised Gregory when he became 2Pacs manager.
During this time period, Jon Divens, begin producing films. The first film was produced with Warner Bros, and their subsidiary, New Line. The film, Blade, went on to make over 100 million dollars world wide. When the studio contacted Jon Divens, to produce Blade 2, Jon Divens agreed. Blade 2 was also a box office success making 100m world wide.
As an accomplished drummer, Jon Divens begin working with musical groups in the late 90's, as a producer. Jon Divens has been active in the productions of LL Cool J, 2Pac, 2sides, Dr. Dre, and Digital Underground.
Jon Divens, was hired as a television producer with the Walt Disney Company in early 2003. Jon Divens work on numerous block- buster projects including, A Cinderella Story, with Brandy and Whitney Houston, and later help develop the hit show My Wife And Kids, Staring Damon Wayans.
Currently, Jon Divens is working with new young musical talent, which includes artist currently signed with Interscope Records and a female pop artist in the studio. Jon Divens believes these artist are the next big acts of the new era.
Finally, with the new financing deal in place, Jon Divens, has launched his new film and music companies under the banner of Jon divens.com. The goal is to produce urban top 40 music, aimed directly at radio with artist that have strong all around musical skills including writing and producing. On the film side Jon Divens will develop film projects centered around horror themes with urban audiances.
