Direct Method

• 1). Press the Windows logo key and "R" simultaneously on the keyboard.
  
  
• 2). Type "\\servername" then press "Enter." Replace "servername" with the SMB name of the computer." Enter a username and password, if prompted.
  
  
• 3). Double-click the shared folder to access its contents.
  
  

Browse Method

• 1). Click the "Start" button in the lower left corner of the screen.
  
  
• 2). Click "Computer."
  
  
• 3). Click "Network" in the left column of the window.
  
  
• 4). Double-click the SMB server to initiate a connection. Enter a username and password, if prompted.
  
  
• 5). Double-click a shared folder to access its contents.
