How to Setup an SSH Server on Windows
- 1). Download and install the FreeSSHD SSH server software for Windows.
- 2). Right-Click on the FreeSSHD icon in the system tray. Select "Settings" from the menu.
- 3). Create a user account by clicking the "Add" button under the "Users" tab in the FreeSSHD window. Select which services you want the new user to have access to. Click "OK."
- 4). Test your new SSH server by using an SSH client such as PuTTY to connect to "LOCALHOST" as the server.
