- 1). Sign up for free curb-side recycling pick-up by calling Eagle Enterprises toll-free at 888-932-2936. All homeowners in the city are eligible for free service.
- 2). Determine how much recycling you get rid of every two weeks. Decide which size of a recycling tote would suit you best, a 48, 64, or a 96 gallon unit. These are available for free from Eagle Enterprises.
- 3). Gather up your plastics, place them in your new bin and set it out by the curb. This can be done every other week on the same day your trash is picked up. Eagle Enterprises recycles No. 1 to No. 5, and No. 7 plastics. The number of your plastic will be printed somewhere on the container.
- 4). Drop off plastic recyclables in the green dumpster outside Village Hall, 4901 N. Prospect Rd. This is available for renters who do not have access to curb-side pick-up or anyone who does not want to sign up for it.
