GE Profile Dishwasher Error Code 2H

104 16

    Misconceptions

    • The "2H" is not actually an error code. The common error codes for GE dishwashers start with the letter "C" followed by a number. For example, the error code "C6" means that the water temperature is too low. Another error code that could occur is "PF" for a power failure.

    Indentification

    • The "2H" stands for "Two Hours," the time of the delayed start. Other messages that may appear include "1H," "3H," "4H" and "5H" for the different time lengths that the delayed start is set for. After each hour, the message will change. For example, if it is set at "2H" and an hour passes, the "1H" message will appear.

    Resetting the Code

    • If you do not want to use the delayed start, hold the "Reset" button until it clears from the LCD. If it still does not clear, hold down the "Delayed Start" button. The LCD will blink for a moment, and then the delay will clear from the screen. If this still does not work, unplug the dishwasher for 30 seconds and then plug it back in.

    Defective Buttons

    • If the "2H" display appears without a button being pressed, there may be a jam or error with the control board. Use a dampened paper towel to wipe down the buttons and clear out any debris that may cause interference. If the problem persists, contact GE customer service for further help.
