Today we'll talk about tips to remember when doing the actual installation of the ceiling speakers.
So let me recap the things that you may need for this process: Saw, exacto knife, screwdriver, pencil, level gauge, wire strippers.
So assuming as this point you have already made your ceiling speakers cutouts and all the necessary things have been completed, you can add these extra tips to improve the performance of your speakers.
Add insulation for your speakers inside the wall space, but be sure to keep the amount of material consistent across the board to have in sync audio.
Be sure to check speaker placement in order to be aware of how to tweak your ceiling speakers to get the best sound according to their position, and more importantly the type of sound you want to present to your listeners.
Install the speaker grills only after all speaker tweaking is done, because obviously you wouldn't want to repeatedly open your grills in order to tweak with the onboard speaker controls.
The ceiling speaker grills are usually relatively sturdy, but because they are designed to fit perfectly, be aware not to over tighten your screws to give unwanted tension to the grills, be extra careful when using a power drill.
Because of where ceiling speakers are often located, be sure to make sure what type of ceiling have, so that you can make the necessary adjustments to properly disperse the weight of the speakers to ensure a secured fit.

if ceiling material is very thin, be sure to use plywood panels to distribute weight of the speakers without losing out on the aesthetics.
Be sure to install everything slowly, and be sure especially when drilling holes to do small test holes to ensure no obstruction is present behind the wall or else you may have to end up paying a lot more to repair wiring or worse water pipes! I trick I like to do is to stick a coat hangar through the hole to try to dig through and try to feel if there are any big obstructions behind the wall.
Be sure to cover up all the unnecessary holes, I think you would be surprised to hear how many people actually forget this! So after your installation is all done, you can consider painting the speaker grills for your ceiling speakers to fully fall into the background.
Some tips include, be sure to rid the surfaces of dirt and debris before beginning any painting.
Ideally remove the grill of the ceiling speakers and paint them separately.
So there you have it some tips that'll hopefully make your installation of your brand new ceiling speakers as painless as possible!
