- 1). While logged into Ubuntu, click on the "System" menu and then select the "Users and Groups" option under the "Administration" menu.
- 2). Selected the user whose registration name you wish to change.
- 3). Click on the "Change" option next to the registration name and enter the new name you would like to use.
- 4). Click "Ok" to approve the change and then "Close" to exit out of the "User Settings" window.
