Cockroaches as Bug Barons
Cockroaches primarily enter the houses pulled in by the openly placed food contaminating it with the pathogens present on legs, wings and saliva of them. Cockroaches are peculiar pests when it comes to feeding habits and egg lying. They hatch the eggs on their back and drop them wherever possible, this increases the infestation level as the eggs turn into off springs and crawling in, carrying the diseases in the existing territory which is new. Cockroaches are nocturnal in nature (active during nights) that makes difficult in identifying the nature and level of infestation but however there are signs (like dropped eggs, stinky odor) we can actually trace out the entry and exit points and also the degree of infestation. Â

There are many ways to get rid of cockroaches and let us see some of themÂ
-Keep the places hygiene, free from stagnant water, open and left over food.
-Block the entry and exit points to the maximum possible level.
-Place traps, baits and some natural methods.
-Clean food particles and dust blockages in pipelines and drains, which will minimize their hiding places.
-Use effective pesticides like spray treatments by collaborating with a pest control company.
Coming to the control methods of cockroaches, people usually consider it as a mere problem and try to control them through some home remedies or buy sprays watching TV commercials. But for the complete control treatment it is possible only through a professional. There is a bold reason for it, because they study the site, level of infestation based on signs and customize a treatment with expensively bought pesticides, which can only be handled by the trained technicians. Examples of professional treatments are cockroach gelling, cockroach trap stations, cockroach baits and many others. A point to remember is they use pesticides which kill pests and don't harm humans.Â
As cockroaches are very difficult pests to get rid of, it takes time to see the results. So, try self hygiene methods along with the help of a pest control professional to stay free from cockroaches.
