Don"t miss out on your favorite snow sports this Olympics!

Every year when the Olympics are on we all gather around the television rooting on our beloved home team and cheering on our favorite athlete. This year will be no exception for this winter Olympics in Vancouver Canada, watching record breaking bobsled races and phenomenal ice skating performances are sure to be a crowd pleaser. So no matter who you are rooting for here are a couple tips not to miss any of the exciting events or ceremonies of the Olympics.

Be sure to be prepared for the opening ceremonies, after the Beijing's Olympics amazing opening performance you can be sure that Vancouver is looking to wow the world again. Vancouver time zone is the Pacific Standard Time (PST) and the opening ceremony is set to start at 7:30pm. If you are watching from the east coast remember that you are three hours ahead. This year's opening ceremony will be the first indoor opening ceremony and the theme is "To Inspire the World" with the main messages to be promoting world peace and celebrating humanity.

Make sure to check the schedule of events to make sure that you know when your favorite sport or the finals for an event are happening. You can go online to check to see when they are going to be showing the event or games as well as the channel it should be playing on. If there is no coverage to watch a particular event then you always have the option to search for it online, occasionally there is coverage there that is not showing on your television. Most major events and finals will have coverage on the television but be sure to check the schedules to make sure you don't miss a minute.

Since all of the major events will be broadcasting on television, make sure that you have a great picture. Now with the latest in technology you can feel like you are right there in Vancouver from the comfort of your own home with a high definition television.
