- 1). Turn on the printer and the computer you wish to install it on. Plug the USB cable into the computer but not the printer at this time.
- 2). Insert the printer's installation disc into the computer's optical drive. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the drivers and the printer's software on the computer.
- 3). Enter the network's name and the password when the installation software asks for them.
- 4). Plug the USB cable into the printer when the installation software directs you to connect the two devices. Wait as the printer connects automatically to the network.
- 5). Unplug the USB cable from the printer and computer when the installation software directs you to do so. Wait as the printer automatically connects to the network wirelessly.
- 6). Insert the installation disc in any other computers on the network you wish to use with the printer. Follow the directions on the screen to fully install the printer's drivers and software.
