Trash Status

• The "Trash Status" feature in WordPress 2.9 speeds up the process of discarding unwanted posts and comments. By clicking "Trash" next to a post or comment, you can send the post into the trash. The item will stay in the trash for 30 days before it becomes permanently deleted. You also have the option of deleting the post permanently. Wordpress 2.9 includes the "Restore" option, which will restore posts and comments if the user has a change of heart.
  
  

Keyboard Shortcuts

• WordPress 2.9 includes many speed improvements to its "Keyboard Shortcuts" feature. By using keyboard shortcuts, you can browse and moderate comments. This feature saves time for blog posts that have a large number of comments by allowing rapid navigation and actions. The keyboard shortcuts have been designed to use both hands on a QWERTY keyboard at the same time. Using the "J" and "K" keys, for example, lets you select a specific post. Embed

• Starting with WordPress 2.9, you can quickly and easily embed videos, images and other multimedia content into the blog post. To embed something into a post or page, simply post the desired content's URL into the content area. The URL must be on its own line, and not hyperlinked.
