The show is all about the protagonist Asad and his relation with his mother and other relatives. The story is about the trials and tribulations the protagonist has to go through to finally find love with Zoya, whom he didn't like initially. The character played by Karan Singh Grover is to the mark with enough oomph factors adding into the pot boiler. 

The handsome star has managed to give a restrained and good performance without going overboard with the theatrics that are a staple on family dramas.

Chronicling the life of Zoya and Asad, there are parallel tracks running in the serial for Haider and Humaira and Farhan and Nikhat. The female leads played by Surbhi as Zoya is bubbly fresh and quite pretty a very apt choice for the character in the soap. It is quite ironical when you find that the show is based on Muslim traditions and customs while the lead characters are non-Muslims. Yet the portrayal of characters, the nuances, the character traits are bang on with some good acting thrown in too. The lead pair looks quite nice as a couple onscreen and their chemistry is noticeable too. The comfort the actors have with each other can be seen in the effortless portrayal of characters in the show Qubool hai. 

Hindi TV channels are many but there are a few prime channels that hog the major viewer eyeballs today. Qubool Hai playing on Zee TV is one of the many serials being aired simultaneously on different channels.
