A Brief History

Theme parks are evolved from European fairs which were created for people's recreation. World fairs and expositions were another influence on the emergence of the theme park industry. Large American corporations borrowed the idea during the early decades of the 20th century and developed it, as a show of their economic and industrial success. The modern amusement park also evolved from seaside pleasure resorts that had become popular with the public for day trips or weekend holidays such as Coney Island in the U.S. This paved the way for such varied parks of today – from seasonal Christmas holiday villages to perennial Atlanta theme parks.

Why a Theme Park?

When we talk about inclusive entertainment, the first thing to come to mind are theme parks. Their diverse cuisine, fantastic rides, and a range of other amusements make them ideal entertainment and recreation destinations for the whole family. Theme parks are one of the few places that every one of all ages can enjoy. What are the three best features of a theme park?

1)      Rides: Rides are usually the most popular attraction of a theme park. Organizers compete fiercely to secure topnotch and unique rides for their parks. Rides are universally loved by children and adults and are probably the single most important feature that keeps people returning.

2)      Food: A lot of theme parks serve a varied cuisine. Global Winter Wonderland, most recently a Atlanta holiday event , was offering foods from nearly a dozen countries. Visitors to Global Winter Wonderland could taste Indian, Chinese, Japanese, and other exotic foods. Most theme parks offer something for your palette.

3)      Theme: If there is something that makes children wants to come to a theme park, it is their unique theme. The parks can be about any subject. Some parks showcase cartoon characters, while others are built around themes such as monsters, ghosts, or even culture. It can be anything from Chinese lanterns to futuristic Klingon warriors.
