Things Not to Do in a Marriage - 5

103 33
There's a lot of things that you should never do in a marriage.
You always hear don't leave the toilet seat up.
Well to me that's a matter of opinion.
But in the interest of peace and harmony and as an act of respect for your wife, don't leave the toilet seat up.
Cause the first time you leave it up and her fat butt gets wedged down in there in that cold water at 3 am the morning you'll never hear the end of it.
So to avoid that ruckus just drop the top.
Don't get mad because dinner's not ready and on the table as soon as you get home.
Give her time to get it fixed.
If you're that hungry stop at Mcdonalds on the way home.
This won't apply to you working wives that get home after your husband.
It this case I feel the husband should be the one to have dinner ready.
Remember marriage is a two way street.
You have to look out for and bless each other.
Don't leave your shoes or anything else in the middle of the floor.
You're partner doesn't want to keep tripping over these things, so practice what you teach your kids and put them away.
Don't be a clutter bug.
The kitchen table is not a junk drop, neither is the kitchen counter, the coffee table or the bed, put your stuff away.
Do not ever put your family over your wife or husband.
This is wrong, rude and disrespectful.
You married your spouse not your mommy and daddy.
Your nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters take a back seat to your spouse, your not married to these relatives either.
Also the people at work, the milk man, mail man, plumber, the neighbors, your friends, and your friends, friends all come way after your spouse, these people are to never be put first, not even close to it.
You don't ever put the needs and wishes of these people over your spouses.
Husbands and wives are first and everyone else last if at all.
Your wife or husband is your #1 priority.
Every one comes in last.
Don't allow anyone to bad mouth your husband or wife.
You stick up for and defend them.
Because when other people, family members included bad mouths, belittles, puts down or talks trash about your spouse, they are talking trash about you in their heart.
Why because you two are one, so start acting like it.
Don't ever be cold or unfeeling when your spouse is sick or injured.
When they are sick you need to be right there with them seeing to their every need.
This will speed up their recovery greatly because of the love and encouragement that they are receiving from you.
Those energizing words of love and acts of affection work wonders for their healing and their self esteem.
When you can see, feel and hear the love, caring and affection from your spouse, that's worth more than all the money in the world to you.
If it's not then you have a problem.
If it's your husband you show him love and affection continually.
Hey, men like their women to baby them too, even though they would never admit it.
Treat him like a man and you will cause him to feel like a man and he will respond and act like a man.
If he don't then you got a wuss on your hands, but that's rare.
Your warm smile and sweet words, love, hugs and kisses will give him the will to get well.
Men shower your wives with tender love and affection.
Speak soft tender words to her ears and they will get down into her heart.
Speak passionately to her and show her gentle affection.
This will speak volumes to her heart and tell her that her husband loves her, and is with her through thick and thin.
Fix her meals, draw her a warm bath, you can even bathe her as an act of love.
Supply her needs and surely she will be there in your time of need.
She will be right there by your side giving you love and affection, just as you gave her.
When you are looking after your spouse in their time of need you are looking after your self.
The bible says that when two people are married they become one.
When you give it will be given back to you.
And giving starts in the home in your very own marriage.
So start giving, Now.
