      FiOS router coax connection and ethernet ports

      Plug one end of a network cable into your computer's Ethernet port. Attach the other end to your FiOS router using one of the four available local area network ports. Connect additional computers to the remaining local area network ports.

      Assign Vista computers a unique name and a work group or network name common to all, using the Windows Vista Network and Sharing Center, or use a comparable tool in your operating system.

      FiOS router main page

      Enter http://192.168.1.1 in your browser's address bar and navigate to the Verizon logon page. Enter the supplied username and password to access the main page. View all networked computers, add wireless connectivity and make security and other custom adjustments to your network.
