2011 Diet Resolution

Did you know that almost half of all American adults make one or more resolutions each New Year. And those who make these resolutions are ten times more likely to attain these goals than those who don't.

Usually the top two resolutions each year are:
  1. Lose Weight and
  2. Exercise more

Are you going to be one of the many with one or both of these on your resolution list?  Set yourself apart, make those resolutions and write down your goals. It's a great way to commit yourself to accomplishing them. Write down your 1-3-6 month and 1 year goals.

Finding the perfect diet for you?

Finding a diet or eating plan that works for you takes a little bit of research. Write down some of your most favorite foods. Jot down some things that you don't want to do in a diet… like:
  • Buying into any food programs
  • Making time for weekly meetings
  • Family members – what will they eat

Most people want a simple food plan. They don't want to read labels, measure or weigh out food, buy expensive food substitutes, shop for unusual foods that are hard to find or fix 2 meals (one for their family and one for them)…but most of all ..they don't want to give up their comfort foods.

Make this the year you stick to your resolutions. Get a friend with the same goals and take the journey together. Hire a life coach to help work through the hard times. Pick a diet or eating plan that is simple and easy to follow. Write your resolutions and goals down and keep the desire of reaching them burning in your heart and you will no doubt succeed.
