Smoke Them Out

• 1). Put on the long pants and long sleeves. Cover your skin to protect yourself from any stings.
  
  
• 2). Build a small fire beneath the wasp nest. Let the fire burn for a short time to create as much smoke as possible. Put the fire out using the end of large broom to fan the smoke towards the nest. This method works well in areas away from your home or structures, such as along fence lines or in trees. You do not want to burn the wasps or nest, merely smoke them out.
  
  
• 3). Remove the empty nest with the broom. Dispose of the nest in the trash.
  
  

Give Them Juice

• 1). Wash out the plastic 2 L soda bottle. Cut off the bottom of the bottle an inch from the bottom.
  
  
• 2). Cut slits into the bottle 1/4-inch apart. Place the bottom of the bottle back on, so it goes over the slits.
  
  
• 3). Soak the piece of cloth with fruit juice. Place the cloth inside the bottle. The wasps are attracted to the sweet juice and cannot stop themselves from flying inside.
  
  
• 4). Check the bottle daily. Put on protective clothing and remove the bottom of the bottle in an area away from your house such as at the end of your yard. The wasps can escape the bottle. Check the bottle later to ensure all the wasps have left and dispose of the bottle.
