The majority of the media companies have young adults in the same section as pensioners. These two age gaps are different generations and like completely different products, so how can companies that are advertising put them in the same boat? This is why their goods are not being sold; they are not reaching the appropriate markets and therefore losing out on business. It is like selling nappies to a person that has not got children. It is not researched properly and the creator clearly does not understand their customers.

Students are a big market that spends a lot of money at shops, it is important to understand what they like and what they do not like. Marketing companies should use young workers to their advantage in selling their goods. If they do not have young people then they should employee them because they will be able to break the business and its adverts into the correct market. They have a certain experience and understanding in the trends as they are a much closer in age gap to the students.

Promoting and marketing is the leading way of selling a product in this day and age. It is a very competitive industry because everybody is trying to be seen and heard. Campus promotions & advertising need to be care carefully put in place to target the students appropriately.

Promoting is another vital form of marketing. The locations are an important part because your target market needs to be going in your direction, your product must be suitable to the environment, a product that is eye catching, something that they will want to buy and an item that they can try and test before they decide. A physical item must be available to showcase and promote the item. There is no point having a huge display with the picture of what the product is.

The people who are representing your company should be around the same age as the aimed clients. This is done so that they are comfortable when being engaged and they are able to relate to the person selling the item. This is a smart strategy that works wonderfully. Promotions are also great to put together in the colleges. Phone them to find out if they would allow your business to do promotions during their lunch times and put up posters of a new trendy invention that your company has launched.
