I've got to say that it's a mix of emotions and feelings I experience at this time of year.  I love Christmas, always have done and always will do but since I married my husband I also have elements of Christmas I do not enjoy and that is because his family come to stay. I suppose I shouldn't complain as they live in Australia I don't see them for the rest of the year but his mother is very difficult to deal with and along with this it doesn't help being on top of each other for a short and intense period. They come over for around a month and they don't like to celebrate Christmas as I do which causes real tension, as I love my festive occasions and treats.

I suppose to be honest she isn't happy with anything considering she doesn't have sewage tanks and never has done she has a very strong opinion on how septic tank emptying kent should be done. It's very annoying as she should just keep herself to herself but when I organise services such as septic tank emptying kent she sticks her nose in and causes problems. If she had sewage tanks it wouldn't annoy me so much but she doesn't so she needs to keep her opinions to herself.

Although the rest of the family aren't my cup of tea I can get on with them well enough but I just find that she is the worst and makes the whole experience of them staying over unpleasant.

I've decided that this year is going to be different; I will stand up for myself and not worry if I offend her. She doesn't worry about doing the same for other people so she should expect the same treatment back. Everyone seems to tip toe around her praying not to offend her but I personally think considering how much she upsets everyone we should all make her aware of how she treats people. Maybe I'll stick my nose into her business and see how she likes it. OK sorry my rant is now over.
