Fraser Island Permits And Information
World heritage listed Fraser Island is known for it's beauty and the worlds largest sand island.

Once on Fraser the only way to get around the island is by 4WD.
Before you arrive on Fraser Island you must obtain a permit for both camping and your vehicle if you are taking on with you.
These permit must be visible at all time and have your booking number on them, your camping permit must be placed on the side of your tent and vehicle pass must be in the front windscreen, this is so that rangers can see them when they come around to do checks.
You can obtain theses passes online or through over the counter stores throughout Queensland.
