I originally made reservations at Putnam Pond Campground, but the site was like a box and had a small stream running through it because of the rain. Our group drove around, found Paradox Lake, and I tent camped there in July 2006.
Describe your camping trip:
Christina and Ken, from Paradox, were very accommodating when we told them about what happened. They even got most of our money back from the reservations that were made at Putnam.
We drove about six hours to get up to the Adirondack region, and we stayed at Follensby Clear Pond half the time and at Paradox the other half. We had a ball fishing and using the campsite. The bathrooms and showers were surprisingly clean. We do a lot of camping and were pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the great time.
