I found out about this campground searching the Internet, and I tent camped there in June 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
The campsites seem to be very well laid out, each with a gravel pad and a firepit with a picnic table. They are spaced nicely too. The bathrooms were much cleaner than some of the others I have seen. There is a nice lake with a swimming area. I wanted to do some biking, but found the trails not to be bike friendly.
There were many tree stumps lying over the trails, which would otherwise be fine for hikers. Just a note: if you are looking for a quiet campground, this is probably not it. It tends to get crowded and rowdy.
Pros: The neat campsites, the lake with a sandy beach to swim in (lifeguards too).
Cons: I didn't find the trails to be well maintained.
