How to train your brain to stand up to OCD the bully

OCD can be a huge hurdle to overcome. I know this from my experience of enduring OCD for over 3 decades and from going through 4 years of therapy for OCD. I found it interesting to read previously that OCD is now regarded as one of the worst 30 diseases in the world. I would believe this and those who are true sufferers of severe to extreme OCD may also agree. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder IS horrendous, to say the very least. Yes, there are plenty of awful mental health problems and indeed other general problems that people face, but an extreme dose of OCD is right up there. From my experience, my OCD was far more difficult to live with and to manage than when I had a major depressive disorder. So, in saying this, what CAN be done to manage OCD? OCD is like a school bully. Well then, what can we do and how can we 'train' our brain to stand up to OCD the bully?
